SUMMER COLLECTION

NO INVESTORS

Nairobi, Kenia – About one year ago Gor, an 18 year old from Nairobi, Kenia, bought his first LFDY tee on a market in the capital. Sold in improvised store fronts, overproduced stock from our manufacturer had made its way to east Africa. Inspired by the brand and in liking of the designs, Gor started selling our clothes illegally through instagram.

Instead of taking legal action against Gors’ business, we contacted him and scheduled a FaceTime call. Inspired by his creative mindset and hustler mentality, we jumped on a plane and visited Gor in Nairobi. We let him and his friends plan the shoot for the new summer collection and got to know the kids behind the illegal Instagram account.

We resonated with the passion they put into their work, the love they share for the brand and the drive to create something new. We want to support the young creatives, in founding their own brand and will produce their first 1000 tees. All sales generated with this tee, will go towards their own brand, giving them a foundation to create their business and setting them up for success. Stay tuned to see how the story continues.

Live Fast Die Young is about kids with dreams, like the group we met in Kenia. It’s about fast moves, taking chances, and making it against all odds – no rich parents, no investors.
